Sell 3D models without handing over the file: the creator journey
Sell your 3D models through the Genesys Studio: set a price and present your design. Buyers print with Hermes without downloading files.

You can sell your designs on The Genesys by choosing a price and publishing them through the Studio. The customer buys a right to print: the file is prepared in the cloud, travels encrypted and is opened by their Hermes. They do not receive a download of your design. The offer is simple: your design becomes something another person can make with a supported printer.
Prepare a design people can choose
Start with the need or desire the model addresses. A distinctive shape catches attention; a clear use helps someone understand why to buy it. Write a description answering “what will I get?” and “where will I use it?”. Show your own images and explain actual features. Avoid protected characters or elements you do not have permission to use.
The title should identify the object rather than conceal it behind adjectives. If you offer a stand, explain its intended purpose. If it is a decorative piece, describe its shape and setting. Dimensions, components and colours should only be stated when they are present in your model data. Do not fill missing information with assumptions.
Publish through the website
The Studio accepts STL or 3MF files up to 2 GB. You can set quality, infill, supports and price; the cloud tests print-file preparation before publication. The same account lets you buy and publish your models: customers do not need an explanation of internal technical mechanisms to understand the model's value.
Your public page is a place to present a coherent collection. Think about a few projects that speak to the same audience rather than an assortment with no connection. Sharing the page with people who follow your work allows them to see what they can print. Invite people who follow your work to explore the collection and choose the project they would like to make. A carefully presented page makes that conversation concrete.
Understand what a sale means
Sales contribute to a creator balance after commission. Read current terms before setting your price or calculating earnings; do not build a plan around an unverified figure. File protection is not a promise that every copy or imitation is impossible. It is a specific distribution journey, and it does not replace building an audience for your work.
Read the listing through a buyer's eyes
Before publishing, reread your description as someone who has never heard of you. Can they recognise the object in the first sentence? Do the images show the result rather than only a promise? Is it clear which components belong to the model? Precise presentation narrows the gap between the project in your mind and the one a customer chooses.
Think about the collection too: models sharing a style or purpose make your work easier to remember. You do not need to invent past success. Explain what you designed, which detail you cared about and whom it is for. That is the material from which a recognisable creator page begins.
